Job summary

Gallagher in Stretford is recruiting for a customer-focused role delivering insurance services by phone. No prior experience is required as full training is provided, with a clear progression path including professional qualifications (CII).

You will handle quotes, renewals, and information gathering, guiding customers to the right cover while working in a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to explain complex language in simple terms, either in writing and/or over the phone
• Attention to detail because you’ll need to accurately review and assess documentation
• Empathy and the ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with customers
• Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers throughout
• Computer literate
• GCSEs, or equivalent including English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Create insurance quotes and renewals over the phone to provide the best price for our customers, recommending the right type of cover – always keeping your customers' interests at heart
• Look for opportunities to upsell or cross-sell our range of products depending on the customers’ needs
• Make and answer calls from customers and clients to gather information, provide updates, and talk through any concerns or questions they may have
• Leave the customer happy, with a positive lasting impression and an extraordinary feeling about our products and services
• Balance multiple tasks at the same time, utilising a range of systems and working in a supportive, friendly, and agile team
