Job summary

Confidential in Isleworth is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to manage a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and day-to-day account management.

You will build strong client relationships, explain policy wordings clearly, liaise with insurers for quotes and terms, and ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and GDPR. This is a full-time, permanent role with on-site work and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Insurance roles (Account Handler/ Broker).
• Understanding of Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, Professional Indemnity, Commercial Combined, or SME insurance.
• Ability to interpret policy wordings and explain cover clearly to clients.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team player with a proactive and professional approach.

Responsibilities

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join a growing and successful brokerage. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing professional support across renewals, new business, mid‑term adjustments, and day-to-day account management.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within Commercial Insurance, either in an Account Handler, Account Executive support, or Broker role.
• Good understanding of commercial insurance products, such as Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, Professional Indemnity, Commercial Combined, or SME insurance.
• Ability to interpret policy wordings and explain cover clearly to clients.

IT Skills
