Job summary

COWELL RECRUITMENT is seeking a Commercial Account Executive for a Bournemouth brokerage, onsite in Northampton. The role offers full training and a pathway from Account Handler/Executive to AE, with a salary up to £50,000 depending on experience and exceptional benefits.

You will manage a diverse commercial portfolio, build relationships, and ensure accurate documentation and quoting while working with insurers to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Background in insurance (Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, or Broking) as an Account Handler / Broker / Executive.
• Willingness to learn and progress into an Account Executive role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and strong administrative/data-processing capabilities.
• Right to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing clients, delivering exceptional service.
• Manage documentation with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy during the quoting process.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to achieve business objectives and high renewal retention rates.
• Process data promptly and accurately on internal systems, ensuring full compliance with FCA standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external insurers to meet client expectations.

The Role:
