Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for an Insurance Officer to join their team on an interim basis. The contract will initially be on a fully remote basis for one month, however this may be extended.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of circa. £20.00/hour, to be paid via an umbrella company.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting with the management of a property and liability focused claims caseload
  • Investigating the merit of liability claims and summarising findings for the department
  • Handling incoming calls to the department, and redirecting any queries as required
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, regarding queries or damages sought
  • Maintaining and updating the Group’s Claims Register
  • Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks, including document drafting and file management
  • Updating internal files and directories, such as repair histories
  • Assisting the team with tender and renewal processes as required

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing/Insurance
  • Experience working with customers within housing

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible)
