The Hartford seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join its London IT team. The role focuses on delivering a digital transformation programme that streamlines underwriting processes and enables a single underwriting workbench for effective workflows.

You will bridge business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality requirements. Required: minimum 5 years as a BA, 3+ years in insurance, strong analytical, communicatio n, data modelling skills, and experience with Agile, Scrum

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in a Business Analyst role.
Minimum of 3 years working within the insurance sector.
Experience with underwriting platforms/workbenches and policy administration systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and IT; translate requirements into documentation.
Analyse feasibility of requirements from technical and operational perspectives.
Collaborate with developers to assess options, effort, and trade-offs.
Work with solution architects, data engineers, and third-party vendors on integrations.
Present solutions to stakeholders at all levels; support testing and change activities.
