Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Insurance Architect to join our UK Insurance & Financial Services practice, with hybrid locations across Bath, Bristol, London and beyond. You will influence architecture across data, cloud and security to deliver transformative outcomes for clients.

As part of the Insurance Architecture team, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders, craft enterprise artefacts, and shape industry reference architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology roles, preferably Financial Services or Insurance.
• Working knowledge of data architecture concepts including data modelling, integration, governance, visualisation and migration.
• Experience with data tools such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to bridge business and technology.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across all six pillars with focus on Applications, Integration, Data, AI, Cloud and Cyber Security, and grow toward pillar specialist.
• Define and deliver enterprise and solution architecture artefacts (current-state, target-state, roadmaps, transition states, integration patterns, capability maps).
• Become familiar with and enhance industry reference architecture frameworks for clients.
• Shape and deliver outputs from data integration designs to cloud strategy artefacts and proof-of-concept builds.
• Build credibility with stakeholders through clear analysis and presentations, and mentor junior colleagues.
