Deloitte in London is seeking a Senior Manager for the Accounting Advisory Insurance practice. You will guide accounting and reporting processes, advise on complex transactions, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality assurance and advisory services for external financial reporting.

You will oversee post-merger integrations, cost optimisation, and global finance transformations while nurturing client relationships and developing talent within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Competenze

• Qualified accountant with leadership in accounting teams for insurance or large IFRS/UK GAAP audits.
• Extensive experience leading complex technical accounting advisory engagements (IFRS 17).
• Finance transformation experience across General Insurance, Life & Pensions, and London Markets.
• Strong communicator with ability to manage key stakeholders and junior team members.

• Lead the implementation, interpretation and ongoing application of new accounting standards and complex transactions.
• Act as lead SME for audit teams on complex accounting judgements.
• Coordinate with actuarial, tax, risk and regulatory experts across Deloitte teams.
• Steer insurance transformation projects for global clients and drive finance excellence.
• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as trusted advisor.
• Monitor market trends and position Deloitte as a thought leader in insurance accounting.
