Job summary

BMS Group is seeking an Account Handler to provide day-to-day client support and policy administration across the lifecycle. You will work with Account Executives to ensure accurate policies, timely renewals and high-quality service.

Responsibilities include liaising with insurers, preparing documentation, and maintaining regulatory compliance while expanding relationships with clients and underwriters. Hybrid working options available in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in insurance broking or underwriting with household and high net worth exposures.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and insurers.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements is needed.
• Experience in Acturis and MS Office applications is essential.
• Customer-focused approach with professional service standards.

Responsibilities

• Be primary contact for clients, handling enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Administer new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and cancellations.
• Prepare schedules, endorsements, certificates and invoices.
• Liaise with insurers/underwriters to obtain quotations and confirm cover.
• Ensure accurate client and policy records and regulatory compliance.
• Support Account Executives with renewals and insurer negotiations.
• Identify cross-sell or up-sell opportunities where appropriate.
• Handle client queries and escalate complex cases when required.
• Maintain knowledge of products, insurers and market developments.
• Adhere to FCA regulations, TCF and company procedures.
