Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Instrumentation bias) to join an integrated shift team.

The role covers troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of site mechanical, instrumentation and electrical systems, including DCS processes. You will work with a self-directed Manufacturing Team to optimize asset output, operating under the Maintenance Manager and Management Team guidance.

Qualifications

Recognised Instrument/Electrical engineering apprenticeship.
Instrumentation experience in process environments.
IEE 18th Edition (preferred).
Ability to fault find on VSDs and PLCs/DCS.
Experience in a similar process plant environment.
ATEX trained.
COMPEX trained.
Knowledge of Health and Safety.
Knowledge of Permit to Work System.
Knowledge of COMAH regulations and requirements (desirable).
Knowledge of ISO9001.
Experience using SAP (desired).

Responsibilities

Trouble shoot and repair plant equipment to meet production schedules; document remedial work in SAP.
Coordinate with team to meet objectives across operations.
Interface with SAP; progress work instructions and preventative maintenance plans.
Plan labour resources and liaise with Maintenance to ensure continuity of works.
Ensure contractor works follow safety procedures and quality standards.
Identify improvement opportunities and work with teams to resolve plant issues.
Liaise with suppliers on technical and spares issues.
Maintain and monitor plant and equipment.
Support compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
