Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Instrumentation bias) to provide technical support across mechanical, instrumentation and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot, install, and maintain DCS-controlled operations while coordinating with a Manufacturing Team to optimise asset output.

The role requires an apprenticeship in I/E engineering, instrumentation experience, and the ability to fault-find on VSDs/PLCs/DCS. IEE 18th Edition and ATEX/COMPEX training are desirable.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in Instrument/Electrical engineering to HNC/ONC or BTech City & Guilds.
• Instruments experience required and fault-finding on electrical control systems.
• Exposure to DCS/PLC systems and IS/COMAH environment is a plus.
• IEE 18th Edition preferred; knowledge of Health & Safety and Permit to Work.
• Experience in a process plant and SAP familiarity desirable.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair plant equipment to meet production schedules.
• Interface with SAP to progress maintenance plans and store transactions.
• Plan labor resources and coordinate with contractors to meet the programme.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain and monitor plant and equipment, and participate in meetings.
