The ideal candidates will have skills and experience in:

  • Instrumentation qualifications (apprenticeship trained, NVQ level 3, ONC in Electrical, Electrical or Instrument & Control Engineering) with good knowledge of instrumentation, controls, and hands-on experience in maintenance.
  • Experience in plant equipment maintenance, fault-finding, servicing electrical or instrumentation equipment on site.
  • Knowledge of maintenance within process engineering plants, large production plants, or high-risk industries.
  • Experience with DSEAR / ATEX regulations, High Voltage systems, HV pressure lines is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle to access site daily.

This role suits maintenance technicians with instrumentation, electrical instrumentation, and I&E maintenance experience in industries such as nuclear, chemical, pharmaceutical, water treatment, oil and gas, petrochemical, or hazardous live sites.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role involves corrective and preventative electrical & instrumentation maintenance, modifications, and supporting operations at production facilities.
