The role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across instrumentation and electrical systems, while working closely with the wider maintenance and operations teams.

You'll have a varied role covering everything from routine inspections and servicing through to fault finding, breakdown response, contractor supervision and supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting other maintenance technicians and operational staff when required.

  • Liaising with and supervising contractors working on site, ensuring they comply with permits and site standards.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and identifying and removing potential hazards.
  • Keeping maintenance records and systems accurately updated.
  • Building your technical knowledge through training, supplier seminars and working alongside equipment specialists.
  • Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and Operations team depending on the task.
About you
