Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking instrumentation and calibration engineers for a global manufacturing business based in Hoddesdon. The role offers development, training and progression opportunities within a growing engineering team.

You will support all PPM and reactive calibration on site instrumentation, handle temperature/humidity/pressure calibration, and work with HVAC and reactor systems. On-site role with UK location.

Qualifications

• Experienced in instrumentation, calibration or controls.
• Experience in manufacturing, utilities, chemicals, water or oil and gas.
• Experience with BMS systems, HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, cold rooms.
• Level 3 qualified or higher in engineering, ideally apprenticeship trained.
• Able to perform instrumentation calibration: temperature, flow, speed and humidity.
• Ideally experience with ATEX, GMP standards.
• Good computer skills and CMMS experience.
• Experience with water systems, sensors, flowmeters, gas analysers is beneficial.
• Knowledge of control systems and PLC programming desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support all PPM and reactive calibration, maintenance and fault finding on on-site instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate temperature, humidity, pressure, flow and speed instrumentation.
• Use of Maximo CMMS systems.
• Deal with HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, utilities and cold rooms.
