Job summary

Quantexa in London is seeking an Instructional Designer to join the Design & Publish Team within Education Services. You will turn complex topics such as data, analytics and software into engaging learning experiences, driving end-to-end design from conversations with SMEs to polished solutions.

You’ll work independently across several priorities, collaborating with Product, R&D and Delivery teams, and will have room to bring new AI-driven approaches to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience designing technical or complex training content – FinTech, analytics, data science or software development.
• Solid knowledge of designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs based on adult learning.
• Good understanding of at least one programming language (Java, Scala, Python or other OOP).
• Strong written communication skills to explain complex information clearly.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Interest in using GenAI for content creation and productivity.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design and update technical learning solutions for customers, partners and employees.
• Apply best practice in learning design, accessibility and user experience.
• Build assessments and use learner feedback to shape design decisions.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed up research, authoring and quality checks with human review.
• Collaborate with product, delivery and R&D to turn platform knowledge into training.
• Maintain programs and keep content current as the platform evolves.
• Research technical documentation and learner feedback to ensure quality.
• Plan and track content projects, flag risks early and keep stakeholders informed.
• Utilize Confluence, Jira, SharePoint and Asana to manage tasks and collaborate.
• Identify and lead new tools or AI approaches to improve learner experience.
• Support teammates and lead projects when useful.
