Job summary

A premium digital learning agency seeks an Immersive Instructional Designer to create bespoke, immersive solutions for a prestigious client base. In this fully remote role, you'll lead design processes, collaborate with a creative team, and apply modern learning principles, including AR/VR and gamification. The ideal candidate has proven experience in designing interactive learning and a strong background in global learning environments, alongside excellent storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead learning design from discovery and ideation through to scripting and storyboarding.
• Collaborate closely with internal developers and designers to bring immersive solutions to life.
• Work directly with stakeholders to shape project goals, tone, and structure.
• Design engaging, interactive, and narrative-driven learning experiences.
• Apply modern learning principles, especially simulation, gamification, AR/VR, and mobile-first design.
• Uphold the agency’s commitment to tailored, non-templated learning products.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in designing immersive and interactive digital learning.
• A strong background in global learning vendors or agencies.
• Excellent storytelling, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with AR/VR, performance support tools, and point-of-performance learning is a plus.
• A wide variety of industry and client knowledge (due to the sheer variety of clients you would work with).
• A willingness to learn the agency’s internal practices and contribute to a collaborative creative culture.
