Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Installations Manager for fire stopping across national projects. You will oversee installation, inspection and technical assurance of fire-rated sealing barriers and passive fire protection systems, coordinating teams and subcontractors.

The role requires construction management experience, CSCS blue card, IT literacy, and strong time-management. Company provides 25 days leave, van, pension, phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• Experience as Installations Manager, Site Manager or Project Manager within construction.
• Experience with passive fire systems such as fire doors, fire barriers, intumescent coatings, fire rated compounds.
• CSCS blue card is required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a team delivering the installation of passive fire protection systems, including fire stopping, cable transits and service penetration seals.
• Coordinating labour, materials, site programmes and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintaining site safety, RAMS, quality inspections and installation records, ensuring all works meet required standards.

The role of the Installations Manager - Fire Stopping will involve:

• Installations Manager position dealing with the installation, inspection and technical assurance of fire-rated sealing barriers
• Overseeing a team delivering the installation of passive fire protection systems, including fire stopping, cable transits and service penetration seals
• Ensuring all installations comply with project specifications, fire safety regulations and third-party certification requirements
• Coordinating labour, materials, site programmes and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintaining site safety, RAMS, quality inspections and installation records, ensuring all works meet required standards

The ideal applicant will be Installations Manager - Fire Stopping with:

• Must have experience as an Installations Manager or Site Manager or Project Manager within construction
• Ideally will have experience dealing with passive fire systems such as, fire doors, fire barriers, intumescent coatings, fire rated compounds
• At least a CSCS blue card
• Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
