Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. in Leeds is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the Fire Stopping Division across the UK, ensuring safe, on-time and cost-efficient project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will manage multiple projects ranging from 5,000 to 1,000,000, coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors, produce and manage programmes, and drive profitability with robust site leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple construction projects with site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of project commercials, including margins, variations, labour management and cost control.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organisational, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience within passive fire protection, fire doors or associated compliance works.
• SMSTS certification and CSCS Gold Card.
• Knowledge and experience of FIRAS or LPCB.
• Formal qualification in Construction Management, Contracts Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple fire stopping installation, remediation and maintenance projects simultaneously.
• Planning and coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Producing and managing programmes of work.
• Monitoring project performance against programme, budget and margin targets.
• Managing project costs, variations, applications and commercial risks.
• Reviewing project profitability and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Conducting site visits and quality inspections.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS.
• Working closely with clients, principal contractors and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Supporting the continued development and growth of the Fire Stopping Division

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee projects within their Fire Stopping Division, taking responsibility for successful project delivery and supporting the team's ongoing development.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects valued at 5,000- 1 million, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective delivery to high-quality standards while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
