JOB ROLE:
INSTALLATIONS MANAGER

At The Renewable Energy Company, we are at the forefront of the transition towards a greener, cleaner way of producing energy in the UK.

We are looking for an experienced Installation Manager to join our growing team to provide oversight, planning and organisation throughout the installation of our solar panel and battery storage systems.

With a keen focus on profit and loss, you will provide installation forecasts and most importantly, manage customer expectations and agreements.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Lead the overarching business strategy for all things related to installation service delivery.
  2. Maximise profitability through solution focused management of onsite issues, whilst monitoring installation cost trends, you will be expected to action plans that support profitability and sustainable growth.
  3. Management of the daily installation workflow highlighting and addressing concerns within timescale and profit and loss margins.
  4. Daily oversight of all site installation teams, monitoring performance, general etiquette and providing grading reports for each installation.
  5. Promote and ensure Health and Safety compliance is up to date and actively followed.
  6. Review, prepare and present Risk Assessments/Method Statements for site teams.
  7. Conduct daily reviews and provide feedback on issues relating to scheduling, margin, and forecasting.
  8. Act as the escalation point to resolve installation issues.
  9. Ensure installation is carried out to specification, on budget and on time.
  10. Manage clients and other stakeholders’ communication through installations.
  11. Ensure correct kit and scaffolding is booked and ready for installation.
  12. Collating Installation Images and performing quality control checks on all installations.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their professional capacity within the renewable energy sector and develop within a business structure that encourages progression.

We are looking for a superstar that can take control of this department and make it their own. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative whilst also forming a part of the senior management team at The Renewable Energy Company.

Whilst direct experience is expected, full systems and process training will be provided.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  1. Project Management experience, particularly in the delivery of MCS compliant measures direct to customers.
  2. Knowledge of Health and Safety Act (1974) as well as other fire and building safety regulations and best practice.
  3. Experience in a construction-based work environment.
  4. A quick learner, someone who excels in a fast-paced industry and environment.
  5. The ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  6. A full UK driving license.
DETAILS

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus Incentives per year dependant on experience.

Company profit share available after 6 months.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Location: Remote with weekly visits to head office.

This role is available immediately.
