Job summary

Samsara in the United Kingdom is seeking an Installation Engineer to oversee deployment of hardware and software at customer sites across the EMEA region. You will work with installation partners, provide onsite support, and proactively de-risk projects to ensure high-quality installations.

This role suits someone with project management or field services experience, comfortable in fast-paced, customer-facing environments, and willing to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing vehicle and/or hardware technology.
• Experience in vehicle installation or fitter work (e.g., installing emergency lighting, two-way radios, GPS equipment, antennas).
• Understanding of CAN bus and PTO applications for on-road/off-road vehicles and industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Define installation best practices for the EMEA organisation.
• Assist partners in building project-specific installation guides and deliver onsite training to installer technicians on project specific requirements.
• Coordinate with installation partners to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to Samsara’s quality standards in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Identify risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and keep projects on track. Serve as a point of contact for escalations and troubleshooting during install phases.
• Provide onsite oversight for large or complex deployments, including building specifications, driving communication with installers, perform real-time troubleshooting, and complete onsite quality checks
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Implementation, and Product) to elevate, share feedback, and enhance the installation experience
