Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Installation & Service Engineer to join our client, a leading specialist in industrial door solutions. This is a field-based role covering the Midlands with occasional nationwide travel and nights away.

You will install, service, maintain and repair industrial equipment, perform fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems, and complete service reports while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
• Experience installing, servicing or repairing industrial machinery
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment
• Servicing, maintenance and repair at customer sites
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Completing service reports and documentation
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Installation & Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in industrial door solutions.

This is a field-based role covering the Midlands and surrounding areas, with occasional nationwide travel and nights away. We are looking for a skilled engineer with both Mechanical and Electrical experience who can confidently carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work on industrial equipment.

Duties Include:

• Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment
• Servicing, maintenance and repair work at customer sites
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Completing service reports and documentation
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering role
• Experience installing, servicing or repairing industrial machinery
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications:

• CSCS Card
• IPAF Licence
• FLT Licence

Expired CSCS, IPAF or FLT certificates will still be considered.
