Job summary

The Best Connection Group is seeking an experienced Installation & Service Engineer to cover the Midlands with occasional nationwide travel and nights away. You will install, service, maintain and repair industrial equipment, using strong fault-finding skills and delivering detailed service reports while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months in mechanical/electrical engineering, experience with installation/repair of industrial machinery, and a Full UK Driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering role.
• Experience installing, servicing or repairing industrial machinery.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Servicing, maintenance and repair work at customer sites.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Completing service reports and documentation.
• Providing a high level of customer service.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.

Installation & Service Engineer

£48,000 - £52,000 per annum | Midlands Based | Permanent

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Installation & Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in industrial door solutions.

This is a field-based role covering the Midlands and surrounding areas, with occasional nationwide travel and nights away.

We are looking for a skilled engineer with both Mechanical and Electrical experience who can confidently carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work on industrial equipment.

Duties Include:

• Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment
• Servicing, maintenance and repair work at customer sites
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Completing service reports and documentation
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering role
• Experience installing, servicing or repairing industrial machinery
• Strong fault-finding skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications:

• CSCS Card

• Expired CSCS, IPAF or FLT certificates will still be considered.
