Guided Talent Limited is seeking an Installation Engineer to join a growing engineering service team. You will install and commission machinery at customer sites across the UK, with some overseas travel, and provide customer training and technical support.

The role requires a relevant engineering qualification, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and excellent communication with a customer-focused approach. A competitive salary plus a bonus and company benefits are offered.

Installation Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installation Engineer to join a busy and growing engineering service team.

The role involves installing, commissioning, servicing and repairing specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK, with some overseas travel. You will also provide customer training and technical support, so a strong customer-focused approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission new machinery at customer sites.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Train customers on machine operation, maintenance and safety.
• Provide technical support and promote service agreements and associated products.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ideally a balanced mechanical and electrical skill set.
• Good IT skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Flexible to travel and stay away regularly, including occasional overseas travel.
