Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Installation Manager for UK-wide water industry projects. The role covers site-based and hybrid work, with long-term AMP8 opportunities and competitive day rates.

You will oversee installation activities from mobilisation to completion, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and client representatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive UK water sector installation experience, a strong track record with Tier 2 contractors or engineering

Qualifications

• Experience delivering installation projects within the UK water industry.
• Strong track record working for Tier 2 contractors, specialist suppliers, manufacturers or engineering businesses within the water supply chain.
• Experience across water and/or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of site installation, construction processes and project delivery.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver installation activities safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Managing installation activities across water and wastewater projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Ensuring installation works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project programmes.
• Monitoring progress, quality and site performance throughout the installation phase.
• Liaising closely with project managers, engineers, design teams and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with relevant specifications, standards and health and safety requirements.

Are you an Installation Manager with extensive experience working within the UK water industry?

With AMP8 approaching and activity across the water sector expected to increase significantly, we're speaking with experienced Installation Managers who are looking for their next long-term contract opportunity.

We're currently speaking with a number of clients across the water supply chain who are beginning to plan their recruitment requirements and strengthen their delivery teams ahead of the AMP8 investment programme.

We're particularly interested in Installation Managers who have experience working for Tier 2 contractors, specialist suppliers, manufacturers or engineering businesses delivering projects within the UK water sector.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing installation activities across water and wastewater projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Ensuring installation works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project programmes.
• Monitoring progress, quality and site performance throughout the installation phase.
• Liaising closely with project managers, engineers, design teams and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with relevant specifications, standards and health and safety requirements.

• Strong knowledge of site installation, construction processes and project delivery.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver installation activities safely and efficiently.
• Relevant industry qualifications and site‑based certifications would be advantageous.
