Job summary

Ganymede in the UK water sector is seeking an experienced Installation Manager for long-term contract opportunities across water and wastewater projects. You will lead installation activities from mobilisation to completion, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.

This role offers site-based and hybrid work across the AMP8 programme, with competitive day rates and ongoing project opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering installation projects within the UK water industry.
• Experience with Tier 2 contractors or engineering businesses within the water sector.
• Experience across water and wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of installation processes and project delivery.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Industry qualifications and site-based certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing installation activities across water and wastewater projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Ensuring installation works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project programmes.
• Monitoring progress, quality and site performance throughout the installation phase.
• Liaising closely with project managers, engineers, design teams and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with relevant specifications, standards and health and safety requirements.

Are you an Installation Manager with extensive experience working within the UK water industry?

With AMP8 approaching and activity across the water sector expected to increase significantly, we're speaking with experienced Installation Managers who are looking for their next long-term contract opportunity.

We're currently speaking with a number of clients across the water supply chain who are beginning to plan their recruitment requirements and strengthen their delivery teams ahead of the AMP8 investment programme.

We're particularly interested in Installation Managers who have experience working for Tier 2 contractors, specialist suppliers, manufacturers or engineering businesses delivering projects within the UK water sector.

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing installation activities across water and wastewater projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Ensuring installation works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project programmes.
• Monitoring progress, quality and site performance throughout the installation phase.
• Liaising closely with project managers, engineers, design teams and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with relevant specifications, standards and health and safety requirements.

• Strong knowledge of site installation, construction processes and project delivery.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver installation activities safely and efficiently.
• Relevant industry qualifications and site-based certifications would be advantageous.
