Morgan Jones is seeking an Installation Technician to join their service team on a permanent, field-based role across the UK. You will install, maintain, fault-fix and support customers with a practical mindset, with full product training provided.

The role offers a company vehicle, paid travel from leaving home to return, a company pension scheme, annual leave plus bank holidays, and opportunities to develop skills across multiple sites.

• Install and assemble products at customer locations.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs.

• Replace components and adjust equipment as needed.
• Demonstrate product operation and provide customer guidance.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Conduct quality and safety checks.
• Liaise with internal teams regarding service schedules and parts.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Installation Technician

Salary: £30,000 + Company Vehicle

About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturer supplying specialist products across a range of commercial sectors, is seeking an Installation Technician to join their service team.

This is a varied field-based role combining installation, maintenance, fault-finding and customer support. You'll visit customer sites across the UK, ensuring products are installed correctly, maintained to a high standard and operating safely and efficiently.

Full product training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical mindset and experience in maintenance, engineering, installation or field service environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble products at customer locations
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
• Replace components and make necessary adjustments
• Demonstrate product operation and provide customer guidance
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
• Conduct quality and safety checks
• Manage tools, equipment and spare parts
• Liaise with internal teams regarding service schedules and parts

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in maintenance, repairs, engineering, installation or field service
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physically capable of carrying out installation and manual handling tasks
• Flexible approach to travel, including occasional overnight stays
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous experience within furniture installation, manufacturing or service engineering would be advantageous.
