You will travel up to 50% to customer sites worldwide, with core hours 10:00–15:00 at the Dorking site and flexible daily scheduling within a 35‑hour week.

We are seeking an experienced Service & Installation Engineer to join a well-established engineering business based in Dorking, Surrey.

This is a varied, hands-on engineering position involving the installation, commissioning, servicing, fault finding and customer support of specialist machinery both at the company's site and at customer locations worldwide.
The role will suit an engineer with a strong electrical bias, particularly someone with experience working on industrial machinery, control systems and electrical installations. Any experience with PLCs or industrial automation would be a significant advantage, although this is not essential.
You will typically spend up to 50% of your working time away from home, travelling internationally to customer sites. Individual trips will normally be limited to a maximum of three weeks at a time.
When based at the Dorking site, the company offers considerable flexibility around working hours, with 10:00 - 15:00 core hours and flexibility around these times.
This is a customer-facing engineering position and will require regular international travel.
This role is commutable from: Dorking, Crawley, Horsham, Farnham, Woking, Sevenoaks and Croydon.

Security Clearance is a mandatory requirement for the position, and candidates must be able to successfully obtain the required level of clearance.
