Job summary

Optima Recruitment is seeking an Installation Technician for a well-established distributor and installation business. The role covers delivering, assembling and installing large equipment at customer sites across the UK.

Based in Epsom, you will enjoy a practical role with some UK travel, supporting customers with a positive installation experience. The position is Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm with overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a delivery, installation or field-based role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must be eligible to drive a company vehicle.
• Good practical/DIY skills with the ability to use hand tools confidently.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling large, heavy items.
• Friendly, professional manner with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on products prior to dispatch.
• Load company vehicles ready for deliveries.
• Deliver equipment safely to customer locations throughout the UK.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving the delivery, assembly and installation of large equipment at customer sites across the UK. The position would suit someone who enjoys practical work, travelling and providing excellent customer service.

• Basic c£28,000 + Overtime OTE £33,000

Additional information

• Basic salary: £28,000 plus paid overtime (OTE circa £32,000).
• Overtime available, typically adding £400-£500 per month depending on workload.
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, plus overtime.
