Job summary

The People Pod in Bolton is seeking an Installation Coordinator to join our busy installations team. You will own the installation diary, coordinate window, door and conservatory installations nationwide, and ensure customers, branch managers and the ordering department stay aligned on schedules.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, can juggle multiple priorities, and communicate clearly by phone and email. Experience with MS Office and scheduling systems is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Own the installation diary and ensure efficient planning from order to installation.

• Work with Ordering Department to ensure materials are available.
• Coordinate customers, branches and installation teams to agree installation dates.
• Monitor upcoming installations and identify potential delays.
• Reschedule installations when needed.
• Maintain accurate customer/order/installation data in internal systems.
• Handle telephone and email enquiries and keep all parties updated.

The Opportunity

Are you highly organised, great at juggling multiple priorities and experienced in coordinating bookings, installations, engineers or field-based teams?

We're recruiting an Installation Coordinator to join a busy, established business operating within the windows, doors and conservatories sector.

Working as part of a fast-paced installations team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and booking installations across a nationwide branch network, ensuring customers, branch managers, installation teams and the internal ordering department are all working to the same schedule.

This is not a sales role. It's a hands-on coordination position where organisation, communication and the ability to keep multiple jobs moving are key.

What You'll Be Doing

As Installation Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the installation diary and help ensure jobs are planned efficiently from order through to installation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and booking window, door and conservatory installations nationwide
• Managing busy installation diaries and scheduling fitting teams
• Liaising closely with Branch Managers across the UK
• Working alongside the Ordering Department to ensure products and materials are available ahead of installation
• Coordinating customers, branches and installation teams to agree suitable installation dates
• Monitoring upcoming installations and identifying potential issues before they cause delays
• Rescheduling installations when circumstances change
• Maintaining accurate customer, order and installation information on internal systems
• Handling telephone and email enquiries from customers and colleagues
• Keeping all parties updated throughout the installation process
• Taking ownership of queries and following them through to resolution
• Prioritising multiple jobs and deadlines within a busy environment
• Supporting the wider installations and operations team when required

• Prioritising workloads when plans and deadlines change

Previous experience within windows, doors, conservatories, home improvements, construction, building products, property maintenance or a similar installation-led environment would be particularly advantageous, although isn't essential.

Above all, we're looking for somebody who is organised, proactive, dependable and comfortable taking ownership.
