With strong IT skills, attention to detail and a confident telephone manner, you will support the installation and surveying teams and provide first-class customer service throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Organising and coordinating daily schedules for Contract Managers and surveyors.
  • Booking and managing surveying appointments and installation visits.
  • Maintaining accurate records of live jobs, appointments and project information.
  • Managing online portals and ensuring all relevant information is kept up to date.
  • Creating and maintaining client spreadsheets, trackers and reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Liaising with tenants, customers and clients by telephone to arrange appointments and provide updates.
  • Monitoring and responding to a busy shared inbox; enquiries dealt with promptly.
  • Coordinating with installers to ensure information, photos and updates are uploaded correctly.
  • Communicating with Contract Managers, surveyors, installers and internal teams to ensure smooth progress.
  • Ensuring information is passed between departments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring outstanding actions and following up where required.
  • Supporting wider admin and operations team with general office duties.
  • Maintaining high accuracy when processing job and customer information.

Installs Administrator

Chase Taylor are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for an experienced and highly organised Installs Administrator to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a confident telephone manner to join a busy and professional office environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the installation and surveying teams, ensuring appointments are coordinated effectively, information is accurately recorded and customers, tenants and internal teams receive a high level of service.

The role would suit someone with previous administration experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities. Experience within construction, social housing, windows, doors, glazing or a similar industry would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable administration and coordination experience will also be considered.

Ideal Candidate Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience within an administration, coordination or customer service role.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident telephone manner and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
  • Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Previous experience working within an office environment is essential.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, online portals and internal systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, proactive and able to use initiative when dealing with day-to-day issues.
  • Previous experience within construction, social housing, windows, doors, glazing, installation or a related industry would be advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating appointments, installers, surveyors or field-based teams would be beneficial.
