Job summary

TipTopJob's Felix Primary School in Felixstowe is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils' learning, wellbeing and development, helping every child thrive and achieve their full potential in a warm, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, work flexibly in a small team, and handle 13.5 hours per week under term-time plus one week. GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 are required; experience with SEND is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a grade C/4 in English and Maths GCSE (for all roles except cleaners, catering staff and exam invigilators).
• Understanding of SEN code of practice and inclusive practice within a school setting.
• Experience of working with SEND and vulnerable students.
• Knowledge of school curriculum and the academic expectations of year groups.
• Experience of working in small group and on a 1:1 basis with students.
• Experience of administrative and reprographic tasks.
