Job summary

Stafford Junior School is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team. You will work 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only, including INSET days, supporting pupils and promoting reading progress across a Year Group.

We require a candidate who can build strong relationships with pupils, families and staff, maintain high expectations, and provide pastoral support to vulnerable learners. The school aims to inspire every pupil to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in a school setting is desirable.
• Ability to promote reading development and engage pupils.
• Strong communication with pupils, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in class, in small groups and on the playground.
• Assist reading development and pastoral support within a year group.
• Work with experienced staff to help vulnerable learners close gaps.
