Job summary

Term Time Teachers Ltd in Brighton is seeking a dedicated Special needs Teacher to join a warm, inclusive SEN school. You will tailor lessons to pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and MLD, ensuring personalised, nurturing learning experiences.

You will work closely with SENCOs, therapists and support staff to implement effective interventions, monitor progress, and report outcomes. A QTS or equivalent, SEN experience, and an Enhanced DBS update are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working in SEN settings.
• Enhanced DBS update service or willingness to apply.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs.
• Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that promotes progress and independence.
• Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to implement effective interventions.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
• Monitor and report pupil progress using appropriate assessment tools.
