Job summary

Woodlands School, part of Bourne Education Trust, is seeking a SEND Class Teacher for its satellite provision at Cranmere Primary School in Esher. The role is based at the Esher site with occasional travel across East Surrey and to Leatherhead.

You will teach pupils with autism and learning difficulties, delivering tailored curricula and working with the SENCo to support SEN arrangements. A fixed-term contract for 1 year, starting ASAP, with generous TPS pension and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding awareness and commitment to pupil safety.
• Evidence of effective continuous professional development.
• Ability to contribute to SEN Support and planning with the SENCo.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the curriculum tailored to age and ability, developing materials and pastoral arrangements.
• Be accountable for attainment, progress and outcomes, planning to maximise pupil potential.
• Collaborate with the SENCo to plan and monitor SEN Support Arrangements.
