Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with a specialist school in Romford to recruit a passionate SEN/SEMH Teacher. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons across KS1- KS5 for learners aged 6-19 with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and related needs, fostering resilience, independence and progression.

The role requires a qualified teacher with QTS, a collaborative approach with therapists and support staff, and a commitment to safeguarding, EHCPs and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Experience in SEN/SENH and complex learning needs helpful.
• Skilled in planning differentiated lessons and positive behaviour strategies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons across KS1–KS5 for 6–19-year-olds with SEN.
• Adapt materials for learners with SEN, SEMH and learning difficulties.
• Develop personalised targets aligned with EHCPs and monitor progress.
