Job summary

Polaris Education - Integrated Services Programme (ISP) School in Battle, East Sussex, is seeking an inspirational qualified teacher to join our SEMH-focused provision for ages 7-18. You will deliver KS3 and KS4 lessons, with emphasis on Science and Maths, within a nurturing, evidence-based framework.

The role is Full-Time, Term Time Only, 8.30am-4.30pm, based at ISP School Battle. The successful candidate will have QTS, SEN experience, and a commitment to safeguarding and high-quality teaching.

Qualifications

• SEN experience with focus on nurture for SEMH/ASC needs.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Reflective practitioner with ability to adapt teaching to needs.

Responsibilities

• Teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Planning, preparing and presenting lessons for the whole ability range.
• Use our positive behaviour policy to hold children to account and enable responsible citizenship.
• Motivate learners to access learning and develop a love of learning.
