Job summary

Academics in Flintshire is seeking adaptable Secondary Teachers for flexible daily supply, short-term, and long-term roles across KS3 and KS4. Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects and contribute to student progress in supportive schools.

Applicants must have QTS or QTLS with a relevant degree, be registered with the EWC or willing to register, hold an enhanced DBS on update service (or apply), and be able to commute around Flintshire.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with a relevant undergraduate degree.
• EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration or willingness to register prior to starting.
• Strong command of the curriculum across KS3 and KS4 in your subject.
• Excellent communication, confident classroom management and effective differentiation techniques.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and engage: plan and deliver engaging, subject-specific lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Flexibility: cover across departments for daily, short-term, or long-term placements.
• Support pupil progression: assess learning, provide feedback, and adapt resources for diverse needs.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and follow school policies to create a positive learning environment.
