New Directions Education in Wales is actively recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work on a flexible supply basis across Flintshire primary schools. Whether you are an experienced teacher, an NQT or an ECT, we would love to hear from you.

As a Supply Teacher, you will gain experience across Foundation Phase to KS2, covering short-term or longer-term absences depending on your availability and preferences.

Qualifications

• QTS or eligible to teach in Wales.
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• NQTs/ECTs welcome to gain valuable classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach across the primary curriculum in Foundation Phase to KS2.
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons catering for all ability ranges.
• Motivate pupils with engaging, imaginative lessons.
• Maintain discipline and manage behavior effectively.
• Record and assess pupil development as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues across settings to support delivery of this role.
