Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. in Cardiff is seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher for long-term roles starting October 2026. You will deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and support students across secondary classes while upholding high standards of classroom management.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent qualification, has strong communication skills, and can adapt teaching to diverse learning needs. DBS and Wales EWC checks are expected as part of safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching at secondary school level.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Proactive and reflective approach to teaching.
• Willingness to be active in the school's community and DBS/EWC checks for Wales.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
