Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in Harrow from September. The role is full-time with a salary on the MPS/UPS scale, dependent on experience.

You will plan and deliver engaging science lessons, assess progress, and foster high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and student wellbeing within a collaborative team. This role suits both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking career development.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong understanding of the secondary Science curriculum.
• Passionate about Science and inspiring students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the secondary curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports every student's learning.
• Deliver practical and theoretical Science lessons that encourage curiosity and problem-solving.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress to inform planning.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Differentiate learning to meet all students' needs.
• Contribute to enrichment activities, trips, science clubs and events.
• Collaborate with the Science department and wider school for best outcomes.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
