Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join welcoming secondary schools in Harrow. Whether you are an experienced teacher or building on early teaching experience, this role offers a fresh opportunity to impact student learning.

You will teach CS across Key Stages 3 and 4, deliver engaging lessons, assess progress and collaborate with staff to support a thriving school community in Harrow.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science/Computing.
• Experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge including programming and computational thinking.
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to helping young people develop confidence and achieve their best.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Delivering engaging, well-planned lessons to develop computational thinking.
• Teaching topics such as programming, algorithms, computer systems and digital literacy.
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every student can succeed.
• Assessing progress, giving feedback and helping pupils reach their potential.
• Supporting students to develop practical coding and problem-solving skills.
• Working with colleagues and contributing to the wider life of the school.
