Teaching Tomorrow is working with a secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from January 2027 through to July 2027. This is a full-time role covering a maternity.

This post focuses on General Science across KS3 (and KS4), with responsibilities including planning, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting student progress within the Science department.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Science at secondary level
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and subject knowledge.
• Is passionate about delivering high-quality Science education.
• Is reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting student development.

Responsibilities

• Teaching general Science to students in KS3 and KS4
• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support student progress.
• Taking responsibility for an element of planning, preparation and marking.
• Working collaboratively with the school's Science department.
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
