Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. seeks a capable Teacher of Science to deliver engaging KS3/KS4 lessons at a Forest Hill secondary school from September 2026. The role welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants and offers progression opportunities within a supportive Science department.

The successful candidate will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 (with a subject specialist welcome) and contribute to practical investigations, enrichment activities and departmental development.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3; specialist in one subject welcomed.
• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management; safeguarding commitment.
• Contribute positively to a successful Science department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students through practical investigations and enquiry.
• Plan and deliver lessons for all abilities.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress.
