The Education Network is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join a Birmingham secondary school on a long-term supply basis from November 2026. You will deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 and help students develop experimental skills and scientific enquiry.

The role requires strong classroom management, solid subject knowledge, and the ability to assess progress and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the recruitment process.

Qualifikationen

• Holds QTS or is an ECT specialising in Science
• Strong subject knowledge to teach Science across KS3 and KS4
• Delivers engaging lessons for diverse abilities and learning needs
• Promotes scientific enquiry, practical learning and critical thinking
• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management
• Assesses student progress and adapts teaching to support learning
• Organised, reliable and committed to improving student outcomes
