Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to cover multiple Canterbury secondary schools from September until the end of the year, with the view to extending. Plan and deliver Biology, Chemistry and Physics for KS3/KS4, test and report progress, and attend meetings as required.

Ideal candidates hold QTS (or equivalent), have strong subject knowledge across all sciences and can inspire students with engaging lessons and solid behaviour management. UK work rights essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Experience teaching Science to KS3/KS4 students.
• DBS Disclosure ( Enhanced ) or willingness to apply for one.
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3/KS4.
• Create learning experiences that cater to all students.
• Attend departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to support growth.
