Job summary

Connex Education in Stroud is seeking enthusiastic Science Teachers to support secondary schools from September 2026. Roles include long-term, short-term and day-to-day supply across KS3-KS4, with flexible 2–5 day per week patterns to fit your schedule.

You will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics, develop engaging lessons, and help students progress. The role offers competitive daily rates, weekly PAYE, and dedicated support from a local education consultant.

Qualifications

• Qualified teachers with strong secondary Science experience preferred.
• Experience delivering Biology, Chemistry or Physics at KS3/KS4.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics depending on subject expertise.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
• Inspire curiosity and develop problem-solving in science.
