Job summary

Connex Education seeks enthusiastic Science Teachers to work in secondary schools across Cheltenham and surrounding areas from September 2026. Roles include long-term, short-term and day-to-day supply, with 2–5 days per week flexibility to fit your schedule.

Opportunities across Biology, Chemistry and Physics with KS3/KS4 placement. Competitive daily rates (£150–£300) via PAYE and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• QTS is preferred but applications from unqualified teachers with strong secondary science teaching experience are welcome.
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics according to subject specialism.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
• Inspire curiosity and develop problem-solving skills in science.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback for student development.
• Support safeguarding and maintain high standards of behaviour.
