Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Ability to plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Positive, patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
• Ability to motivate pupils and build supportive relationships.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and meeting diverse needs.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual needs and learning styles.
• Create a safe, structured, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour, high expectations and good learning habits.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, identifying development needs.
• Use effective assessments to inform planning and progress.
• Encourage pupil independence, resilience and love of learning.
• Support literacy, numeracy and wider academic development.
• Identify pupils needing extra support and implement strategies.
• Provide inclusive learning environments for SEND and EAL learners.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
