Job summary

London Teaching Pool, Ltd is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to cover KS1 and KS2 in a Stanmore school. The role requires delivering engaging lessons, differentiating activities and supporting pupils’ social and emotional development.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification and bring experience across KS1 and KS2, with a commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong understanding of the primary national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Ability to plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons for diverse learners.
• Effective classroom management and clear routines.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Differentiate teaching activities to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create an inclusive, safe classroom environment supporting pupil progress.
• Assess pupil progress and inform planning with evidence.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents.
• Maintain safeguarding and promote positive pupil outcomes.
