Job summary

TLTP Group is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a Willesden-based primary school. You will plan engaging lessons, adapt to pupil needs, monitor progress and create an inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, high expectations, and collaboration with staff and families. The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and school life, supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Ability to plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet pupils' individual needs, abilities and learning styles.
• Create a safe, structured, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour, good learning habits and high expectations.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, identifying areas for development and celebrating achievements.
• Use effective assessment strategies to inform planning and support continued progress.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, resilience and a love of learning.
• Support pupils' literacy, numeracy, communication and wider academic development.
• Identify pupils who may require additional support and implement appropriate strategies.
• Provide an inclusive learning environment that supports pupils with SEND and EAL where required.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
• Manage classroom routines effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, school activities and the wider life of the school.
