Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting a Primary Class Teacher for KS1 and KS2 in Radstock. You will teach across year groups, create engaging lessons, and support pupils to reach their potential within Bath & Wells MAT schools.

The role offers flexibility across day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term placements with competitive pay rates (£140–£248 per day) and access to development resources and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience teaching in a primary school.
• Confidence teaching across KS1/KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach across KS1 and KS2, adapting lessons for different year groups and abilities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ learning, progress, and development.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
• Maintain effective classroom management and high behaviour standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider school community.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
